ウクライナ支援、ウクライナ慰霊法要が5月29日（日）に無事円成致しました。当日は、暑い中、沢山のご参拝頂きまして、ありがとうございました。 また、法要中には、雅楽演奏で法要を彩って頂き、殊更に、法要の前には、ウクライナと日本の国歌を雅楽で演奏をして頂きました音輪会さんにも御礼申し上げます。 そして、ここに無事終了致しましたことを報告し、ウクライナの英霊に供養を捧げます。さらには、戦禍の中、今なおウクライナ国家に於いて不自由な生活をなされているウクライナ市民の面々、避難民の面々、さらには医療に従事している医療関係者の面々に対して、平和祈願、健康祈願・家内安全を祈願 致しました。 2月24日にロシアがウクライナに軍事侵攻を開始したという大変悲しい ニュースより3ヶ月！なにか私たちに出来ることがないかと模索した中、お題目の力により私たちにも亡くなられた英霊に対して、慰霊が出来るのではないか。また、今も尚医療に従事されている、国を守り戦っている方々に対して平和の祈願が出来るのではないかと発起して行った法要に対して沢山の参拝者が共に手を合わせ経を読み、お題目を唱えていたあの空間は、参列者全員が一心に平和の心を抱いた瞬間であったと感動をも覚えました。 日蓮聖人は、立正安国論の中で、次のようにお示しになられておられます。 『汝早く信仰の寸心を改めて速やかに実乗の一善に帰せよ 然れば則ち三界は仏国なり 仏国其れ衰えんや 十方は悉く寳土也。寳土何ぞ壊れんや国に衰微なく土に破壊なくんば身は是安全にして是れ禅定ならん。此の詞、此の言、信ずべく崇むべし』この諫暁（かんぎょう）は、鎌倉時代に於ける蒙古からの日本への侵略からなる日蓮聖人の教えの真髄であると信じております。 もし、今生に日蓮聖人がおられれば、ロシア国家に対しての大聖人は、獅子吼の如き諫暁をなされているとも確信しております。 最後と致しまして、沢山の方々に手を合わせ平和な心を日本からも送れることを知って頂き、1人でも多くの方々にお題目を通して、ウクライナへ平和の心を捧げて頂きたいと考えましております。 今後も、引き続き、ウクライナへの慰霊を支援を続けていきたいと感じております。 なお、皆様から頂きましたウクライナへの塔婆代は京都市を通して、ウクライナへ全額寄付 致しました。ご協力頂きました皆様、大変有難うございました。
Zuikoh-Ji Temple held a special Memorial Ceremony for Ukraine on Sunday, May 29 th in Kyoto.
We never react quickly to world crisis and feel impatience when we watch the terrible news about the war in Ukraine.
But Rev. Chiko Kawaguchi, resident minister of Zuikou-Ji said that we can pray with the Odaimoku as Nichiren-shu
temples, for Ukraine because the Ukrainian citizens have been oppressed by Russia. We can support them from all
over the world with Nichiren Daishonin’s Odaimoku power.
This is the reason why we decided to officiate this memorial ceremony for Ukraine.
The ceremony started with a silent prayer. Otonowakai, which is a Gagaku Japanese Imperial court music group in
Kyoto, chaired by Rev. Kawaguchi played the national anthem of Ukraine and Japan.
Rev. Chitoku Kawaguchi, vice-resident minister, and former international propagator, performed the invocation and
dedication in English for the deceased Ukraine citizen’s spirits. He also performed VANDANA & TI-SARANA as an
English Shomyo for Ukraine.
Zuikou-Ji members offered many Stupa(toba) tower for Ukraine. Their donations which included the Stupa tower
fee, were donated to Ukraine through Kyoto city. Zuikoh-Ji temple Committee members told us that we could give support
from temples even in Japan to Ukraine, so I would like Nichiren Shu members throughout the world to understand
that we can support and pray for Ukraine from all over the world with the Odaimoku.
Rev. Chiko Kawaguchi told the attendees to think about Nichiren Daishonin, his teachings, and especially about
Rissho Ankoku Ron which Nichiren Shonin had sent to Hōjō Tokiyori, the Kamakura Regent during the Kamakura Era.
“You should promptly discard your false faith and take up
the true teaching of the Lotus Sutra at once. This triple
world of unenlightened will all become Buddha Lands.”
We as Nichiren followers should propagate Nichiren Shonin’s teachings to Russia. We must think again deeply about the victims of this war.
We believe our prayers will be received by Ukraine, and we also must pray for the medical staff and caregivers, and the
refugees from Ukraine to keep their good health, and long life with happiness and a peaceful mind, and for the war to
end soon. Rev. Kawaguchi said that there are many Nichiren Shu temples and missions in the world, and they
will also hold memorial ceremonies, so please pray for Ukraine together with the Odaimoku.
